In this expert interview, Anikó Szalai, Head of the International and Regional Studies Institute at the Faculty of Law at the University of Szeged, explores how human rights protection mechanisms can be used to support Roma as a minority. She also discusses how Roma and other minorities have a difficulty time in practicing their political rights, due to past and current biases in legislation and society.
